PICTURE

February~07

The aft end of JENAL's engine room. The yellow tank at the top is the hydraulic oil reservoir, below it is the Webasto air conditioning plant. Directly in front of the A/C plant is the silver Webasto water heater and over to the right is its turquoise coloured pump. In the middle foreground is the Cleghorn Waring 2 1/2" bronze bilge pump driven by the hydraulic motor above it. Designed to keep JENAL afloat if the 'worst' ever happens.

The grey box to the right of the picture with various threaded steel tubes sticking vertically upward is the water inlet point for engine room components. On the box's front face (barely visible in this picture) is the welded insignia of Martie, one of Aments chief fabricators and the Guy responsible for the steel fabrication of JENAL. This was placed here on Alan's insistence as he deserved recognition for his excellent work.
