Ament have a separate stainless steel fabrication division, here, they are in the final stages of manufacturing the stainless steel rear hand-rails.  They are in the last process, the final polishing of welded joints before fixing to JENAL. They are made in 2 parts, port and starboard assemblies (portside in foreground), meeting in the middle by the aft flag-pole area.

JENAL's aft most point also has a socket in deck area for the boarding ramp, used when mooring 'Mediterranean-style' where the landing ramp is used lengthwise from the rear to land. The bow is normally either anchored-off or tied to a buoy.
