CONSTRUCTION INFORMATION - story page number fifteen
The oil radiator fits in its own rubber mounted steel housing just below the steering head-stock. It replaces the Benelli's original twin horns which were replaced with Fiamm twin-tone types and hidden under the seat. The oil cooler pipes can be seen appearing from underneath the Benelli's fuel tank having just passed through the oil thermostat mounted above the transmission. Rubber mounting the oil cooler radiator was felt essential to remove any potential and damaging vibrations. Although this 6 cylinder engine is so smooth, it feels more like an electric motor. The drilled holes in the side of the steel silver rad mount are there more for aesthetics than race breed lightness.
