CONSTRUCTION INFORMATION - story page number three
We trial fitted the second hand 750 Sei fuel tank and seat to see what mods were required. The tank was an easy alteration to its fittings but the seat would require a new set of steel fabricated mountings for both the seat hinge and its locking mechanism. The 900's seat hinging from the rear to gain access to the under seat storage area where the 750 hinged from the left-hand-side. The 750 seat was deeper with padding and would prove the preferable for touring purposes. At this stage it was gratifying to learn that the styling transition from 900 to 750 was less daunting than Alan had been lead to believe.
